Privacy at Party Queue

Traffic and performance

Vercel Web Analytics measures anonymized page views, referrers, general location, device, browser, and operating-system information without analytics cookies. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous page-performance measurements such as loading speed, responsiveness, and visual stability. These measurements are not used to build an advertising profile.

Search measurements

When you run or widen a search, we record the party size, selected platform families, play style, available time, result count, and timestamp.

We do not store your typed game search, IP address, account identifier, email address, or a persistent browser identifier with these measurements.

Understanding the finder

We measure guide views, finder clicks, search starts and outcomes, game-detail opens, and successful link copies. These events include a game identifier where relevant, group settings, broad device category, and a source category such as Google or direct. A random identifier stored in this tab expires after 30 minutes and connects these actions; it is not connected to your account. We do not send full referrer URLs or typed search terms. Add ?analytics=off to a page URL to exclude this tab from traffic and product measurement; ?analytics=on resumes measurement.

Store links

When you select an official store link, we record the game identifier and broad merchant category so we can understand whether buying information is useful. We do not record the price, destination URL, purchase, store account, or payment information. If Party Queue later uses an approved affiliate destination, the affected links will be clearly disclosed and marked as sponsored.

Community contributions

Game suggestions, co-op ratings, and catalog corrections require account sign-in. Supabase Auth processes your email address and assigns an account identifier so it can securely maintain your session. Party Queue stores that internal identifier with ratings and suggestions, and temporarily counts contribution actions by identifier to enforce hourly or daily abuse limits. Contributor email addresses are not copied into contribution or rate-limit records.

Public rating summaries appear only after at least five ratings. Individual ratings and account identifiers are never displayed publicly.

Game corrections

If you report incorrect game information, we store the game, issue category, explanation, report status, and timestamps. Your authenticated session and contribution limit are checked before accepting the report, but the correction record does not contain your email address or account identifier.

Game information and media

Game metadata, covers, and reviewed screenshots may be loaded from IGDB or an official storefront when IGDB does not yet carry a title. Your browser contacts the relevant image service when displaying this media, and its own policies may apply. Most trailers use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player and are not loaded until you choose to play one; playing a trailer connects your browser to YouTube. Where an official trailer is available only from Steam, the site links to its Steam store page instead of loading the video automatically. Verification links shown with catalog records are limited to first-party sources, official storefronts, IGDB, and Wikipedia.

This notice will be updated before Party Queue adds marketing tools, advertising, or additional third-party services.
